Placement Testing

All applicants are required to take a placement test such as the American College Test (ACT), Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), Accuplacer or Compass. The scores will be used for scheduling and counseling purposes only.

The ACT and the SAT are given at designated centers throughout the United States. Information bulletins and registration forms for the ACT and the SAT are available in the high school or on-line at www.act.org or www.sat.org

The ACT is also given monthly at the Welcome Center on campus. The scores from this exam are valid only at the CTC @ Tech and WVU Tech. For more information, contact Jeretta Ford at 442-3026.
