Claims Processing Certificate

Program Objectives:

The program is designed:

1. To educate students interested in pursuing careers in claims processing or insurance companies.
2. To provide opportunities for further education for professionals already employed in the field.
3. To prepare students to be able to accurately and efficiently (a) perform office procedures; (b) display professionalism to patients and co-workers; (c) utilize both medical and general application software; (d) perform medical billing and coding; (e) process insurance claims, and (f) interpret EOBs.
